Collapsible Accordions - first one does not close

HI, when I go to the Effects Tab settings and check "Collapsible Accordions: Enable all sections of accordion to be closed" I notice that the 1st panel that is open upon loading does not have a function to click on the title bar and close it, I must go to the second or any other tab for that matter to close down the 1st that is open.

When the Effects Tab settings "Collapsible Accordions: Enable all sections of accordion to be closed" is UNchecked I am able to open/close just fine.

Will you ever update this so the user close the 1st accordion panel by clicking on it?

0.8.7 breaks google maps in tab fix

In 0.8.5 i applied the common fix for the google map not displaying in jquery tab feature under Custom CSS as below:

.ui-tabs .ui-tabs-hide {
position: absolute !important;
left: -10000px !important;
display:block !important;
}

Updating to 0.8.7 seems to have broken google maps again and this fix is being ignored for some reason. I have reverted to 0.8.5 and it's all fine again

Please advise?

accordions not working after upgrade to latest version

Hi,

Just upgraded to the latest version of WP-UI and my accordions are no longer present. Tabs are working fine on my 'Features' page and look great, but accordions are now missing on my 'Shopping Carts' pages. My site is www.cartspan.com

I get the same behavior in Chrome, Firefox, and IE.

Any ideas as to what might be the issue? Would uninstalling completely and reinstalling make any difference? Would there be any implications for the short-codes in the affected pages?

Coming back to WP UI vertical tabs, but having trouble hardcoding it. The data will show, but the tabs break apart. I must not be adding the classes correctly. I'm stumped.

For the example below, I just used the editor, added the content, and made a couple of changes to the styles. But it's exactly how I would like for it to look:

I am guessing that I need the php for my content.php template. The tabs will be populated from custom acf fields, which I think I can figure out.

Great plugin!
Since a couple days ago, I noticed that the tab content and horizontal accordion is not showing/ working. It was working just fine before.
I have been reading that there may be an issue with the jquery, but not totally sure.
Since this is a live site, I wanted to ask first, before I attempt anything.

UI Tabs break with WP Order Cart

wordpress 3.5 conflict

after upgrading wordpress to 3.5 i have had a few problems with plugins
there seems to be a conflict between WP UI Version 0.8.5 and Wordpress Poll Version 34.04
i am using the wp gialog buttons for popups at the top of all pages but when both plugins are active the dialogs are open on all pages showin them as if they are text on the screen
looked through all the help in the forums for both plugins and can find no solution
at present i have deactivated WP ui but wish to have tis feature working
Any and all help would be great
Both worked fine under wordpress 3.4.2

Hi, my accordions are not working on IE8. It shows the tab title and text but no Accordion. When I wrap in tabs, that works. But the Accordion function does not! I even installed a clean version of wp/twenty eleven with no other plugins, made an Accordion tab with the defaults and no good. However, when I preview a style in the Settings, that works. So what am I doing wrong????? Please help!!!!!

Hi, I believe it is possible to display tabs (or accordion) conditionally - only if there is content (or custom field not empty), but I am not sure how to do it! For example I am listing hotels and have various custom fields including spa & golf but do not want the tabs to show if the hotels do not have these facilities. time.ly and script tags break tabs

I'm happily using this amazing code on many pages. However I am trying to use an events calendar plugin called time.ly with the site. Theoretically I can pass it a jquery selector and it will embed itself in the proper container.

So I do something like

and bam it breaks the tabs.

So i wonder what restrictions there are on html within the tabs and of course, is there any way to make this work with the time.ly plugin.

Please, need Help with Vertical tabs within Horizontal Tabbing

Trying to use tabs within tabs, isn't working well. The tabs need to be refreshed each time to be displayed properly. So the main tabs are the horizontal, and in each has a set of vertical tabs. The vertical tabs need to be refreshed to be displayed properly, each time you switch between the main tabs.

Anybody experiencing this? Or have a fix?

How to set accordion vertical size?

Hi,

On my page I'm using a WP UI Post Widget accordion.
I would like the accordion to always keep the same vertical space on the page.
The problem is that depending on which 'tab' is selected the accordion re-sizes for the content in the tab and the vertical height changes.

Is there a way I can constrain the accordion to always be the same vertical height?

If I carefully put the text or image that should be inside a tab immediately on the line after the [wptabcontent] and avoid all empty lines, and, staying inside the html view, hit "update", the site looks good. If I then switch to the visual view of the editor, the content falls out of the tab area and the following tabs disappear. Going back to the html view, I find that a lot of and

have been automatically inserted, which caused the problem. Deleting them and trying again doesn't work - they just keep coming back. The image at the beginning is the biggest problem - these tags always get placed around it.

Any suggestions for how to format the content of the tab box without triggering these tags?

Hi Kavin,

Is there a way to customize the CSS in a child theme so all the content in the tabs component prints out on a page in the order of the tabs. Currently the component prints out as an outline of the component and the content of the selected tab. Would be quite useful to add css to include all the content when the user want to print the page.

The widget only contains "Categories, Tag, Recent..." but not the options for selected posts. I would like to select by ID the posts to display. Is there a work around to achieve this? I have a tab that is adding a
code at the top of the first content area and I can't figure out why.
