Adding individual classes to wptabtitle etc
  • How can I add an individual class selector in Page Edit mode to a tab set, a tab title or tabbed content?

e.g. I know this won't work but something like:

    [wptabtitle class="MAGHOP_ICON"]About Maggie & Hopey[/wptabtitle]

    So that it renders as:
    <h3 class="wp-tab-title ui-accordion-header ui-helper-reset ui-state-default ui-corner-all MAGHOP_ICON" role="tab" aria-expanded="false" aria-selected="false" tabindex="0">About Maggie & Hopey</h3>

    Is there a way? Thanks!
  • The tab titles are used only for text, later removed the page. So unlike the wrapping shortcode( wptabs ), classes not get parsed thorough this. But it's not hard to do, i will see if i can get this into next update. :)

BTW, am curious.. are you trying to include an image or icon beside the text, or using this for some other?
  • I'm trying to add an associated icon to the left of the titles, a unique icon for each title. Will try adding a tag inside for the meantime. Thanks for answering!
  • Hi, I was wondering if this was ever resolved... i've been trying to do the same thing and been looking for a solution for over 2 weeks with no luck.
How can I have different icons for each tab with no text, and hover effect?
    Please help.

    Thanks!
