how to add interactions like sortable

I use wordpress 3.3.1. and like the plugin. I would like to use the jquery ui interactions in combination with tabs. Is there a simple way to add interactions like sortable?

There are no simple way to use the Sortables yet, but i plan on adding them on upcoming versions.
BTW, you mean the UI sortables - as in sortable lists, divs, not the sortable tabs - right? -
I mean the sortable in tabs, is this 'easier' to achieve? I'll explain;
i have a grid with equal sized images within several tabs, one of these tabs is the favourite tab. I want to be able too drag and drop the images from different tabs into a tab of choice or favourite tab.
